Major Barriers
business start up and family (3 young kids) have been and still are my focus as well as leading in our local church. Have a good team around me now that will allow me to invest more time in local community involvement. also the growth of Wilson County opportunity and our focus as business to build more homes where we live vs Nashville and Williamson county where we had previously been more involved.
Why Should You Be Selected To Participate
Motivated to get more involved in the community where we have chosen to live and raise our family. I desire to learn about opportunities to be part of making Wilson County an even better place to live and work and raise families as we continue to grow in positive ways. I am a fan of Wilson County and want to understand more ways I can make a positive impact with a local Wilson County focus.
Expectations From/For Participation
I hope to gain a better understanding of ways to positively impact Wilson County. I desire to utilize the Leadership Wilson experience to learn how to best allocate my time, talent and treasure locally.
Community Challenge / Issue / Goal
There is much development opportunity and need to make Wilson County better able to compete with Williamson County both now and in the years to come. My dream is for MJ to truly compete with Cool Springs and for Lebanon to truly compete with Franklin. We are well on the track from my viewpoint! We just need to champion the idea and keep improving our developments and along with that our schools will continue to improve and overall quality of life will become second to none! Wilson County has a very desirable location to lakes and airport vs Williamson and we need to continue to focus on the positive and develop for the immediate need as well as future and attract good investors to Wilson County. What an opportunity we have right now and long term!
