Major Barriers
One barrier was networking because I didn't know as many people. However since working with Centerstage, it's allowed me to meet more people within our community and to obtain more information on what's happening within the city and county.
Why Should You Be Selected To Participate
I love this community especially since I was born, raised and educated right here in Wilson County. In 2000, I left home for 13 years and worked in my chosen profession at the time as a journalism and in theater in Arizona. But the path led me back to Watertown and Wilson County, and gave me an even deeper appreciation for this county.
Expectations From/For Participation
I hope to gain even more knowledge about the county, strengthen my leadership and use it at Centerstage and beyond.
Community Challenge / Issue / Goal
With growth exploding in the area, it's going to be important to provide as many diverse activities for the people coming into area. I believe there are some committees that could be potentially formed to look into the matters.
